We are organising a new international trampolining tournament and are in need of perfect, catchy, modern marching in music that lifts the spirit. What are your favorites, or what music do you think would be perfect?
Also ideas for music for medal ceremonies would be very welcome.
Okay, so the USAG compulsory music is awful! But, just out of curiosity, can someone in JO use the compulsory (probably level 4 or 5, since it's longer) music in optionals, but with different choreography?
Two of my girls are entering optionals in a few months and we are all super excited! I can't believe that some of my girls have actually gone this far already! I've been coaching them for a little over 2 years now and when I started none of them had even competed yet
Anyway, the girls can...
Just curious- what do your gyms do about background music in the gym? I don't typically turn anything on, but inevitably another coach will come in who thinks it's too quiet and clicks on the radio to a pop station and inevitably some questionable stuff comes on. We had a parent complain...
(For the life of me I couldnt get the poll thingee to come up, so I guess we can all ramble away...):
For those who ahem, dislike the compulsory music, which one of the 5 drives you the most batty, and which one out of the 5 is the least annoying?
I will start. So help me God, the level 2...
Out of sheer curiosity, what is that one piece of floor music you can't stand to hear at the gym/meets etc?:D Whether you are sick of it because it is overused, or you just plain don't like it for no particular reason.
For me, I have two. I will admit Nathan Lanier has some beautiful stuff...
Option 1, Piano:
Option 2, Trumpet:
Option 3, Mix:
Which one of these 3 Options for level 4 music do you like the best, and which one does your gym use?
I am going to use the level 4 routine for my optional routine next year, that is why i am interested.
hello! I'm looking for floor music to use this upcoming season. I like the skeletons music that Laurie used. I'm also a fan of the music mg elite typically uses. Any suggestions? Thanks!
Alex and I have been searching of new floor music for hours.
She is not a powerful tumbler and she is not an actress.
She loves violin music, dislikes spanish music.
But wants something unique.
Suggestions welcome :)
Its so darn hard...
Thank you
So we get new floor routines every year. Some people get new routines and some people get passed down routines from higher level gymnasts. Summer time is when most people start looking at music, so most of us have music picked out. I’ve had two picked out— which my coaches liked both.
Later...
Alright long post! Be prepared!
So this is my first thread on Chalk Bucket but I have been poking around for awhile.. Anyways, So for a little bit of backstory since this is my first thread, I have 3 kids all girls ODD Has been graduated for a year now but she did dance from around 5 to when...
Hey all,
I cut a piece of music lately for a gymnastics routine, and I really enjoyed doing it. I'd really like to do some more.
So, if anybody would like some floor music to be cut, please let me know! For reference, here's the one I already made: . I don't think it came out too badly...
We're looking gor music for my level 6 daughter that isn't very graceful or dancy. She's 13, but very tiny; only 4'2" and 55 pounds. Her current music is Russian. Any suggestians that are like a mix between techno, bolllywod, and a littlw bit dancy? She's quite the powerhouse and isn't flexible. TIA
Do you guys do workouts on music in the training? In my opinion workouts are so much more fun with music! I really like the 'who run the world' and 'uptown funk' workouts and I use the tabata song for different strength exercises. But does anyone have other nice workouts which I can do with my...
Does anyone know the name of Brenna Dowell's 2017 floor music? Or perhaps have suggestions for something similar? I like that it sounds "classical" but still has a strong underlying beat... I attached a video if that helps, I've tried using Shazam to indentify the song but there is too much...
This is my first time posting, so I hope I am doing this properly.
My dd just finished her level 8 season and has had the same floor music for the last two years. We will be getting new choreography this summer and we are looking for new music. Other than YouTube, where would you recommend...
