I have twin girls named Leah and Alexis, they are both level 5 with some level 6 skills.

3 weeks ago my level 8 DD decided to change gyms...if you look back, the old gym did not handle the transition well...the good news is, once my dd's hurt feelings towards her old coaches started to heal, she is handling the transition great...she loves the new gym, the different coaching...

Most of you don't know me, but my DD was at a gym with a negative coaching environment for the pre-team and early levels. She was yelled at and belittled for not being strong and/or flexible enough. FYI, she's small for her age and not very strong, but she is very flexible...
i posted a couple of days ago asking for advice and experience with leaving one gym to go to another...we requested a meeting with the coaches to let our DD explain her reason(s) for leaving them after 6 years and going to another area gym...she had spent many agonzing hours coming to this...

I am a mom of a level 3, now moving on to level 4 7 year old DD. She had her last level three meet last night. Our gym did three level 3 meets and she recevied 4 blue, 3 red, 2 white and 3 yellow ribbons total. Floor is her best event and bars is her worst. Still working to get her mill...
my girls love it!! and the one coach had suggersted my youngest try out for the preteam!! she had told me she is really good!!
my youngest also mastered a new skill!! her back walk over!! she had trouble with that!! my oldest is soo close!! she got it really nice on the cheese!! the best part...

My dd found a new gym. She is actually on a team at this gym. The coach is actually impressed with her skill and form. What a great change for her!! I am a little leary because of all that has happened to her, but am not expressing this outwardly as not to set up a bad vibe. I'm just...
I think in the next 2 weeks we are going to check out a new gym for my girls! as my youngest would like to get into COmpetition!! I called over to the nex closest one and one tha seems like I wont go broke like some of the other gyms!1

Hi there from snowy upstate New York. I have two children who are involved in gymnastics. My son who is going to be 5 is in a rec class and my daughter who is 6 1/2 and is a level 3 in a pre team type program. My daughter would live at the gym if she could and asks all the time to go three days...
