regional

So, has anyone seen anything about what the scores will be in order for boys to qualify to regionals/nationals? Seems like the season is flying by and states will be here before we know it!

I have gone to USAG Congress the past two years - first Regional in CA and last year the National Congress. This year I have the choice of going to Regional (in IA) or National Congress. Is there any benefit of going to Regional rather than National, besides not spending as much money on travel...

Can anyone explain how L8/L9 regional (and L9 National) teams are determined? Does it vary based on region? It doesn't seem to be based solely on how the gymnast places at state. We had optionals qualify the last few years, but I've never understood the selection method.

Not my DD. But our one and only L10. (im not sure how the other girls did at States. Just our L10 because she helps teach the itties) She got first AA at states. There is only 4 or 5 L10s in our state. Is that normal? I know L10 is a place alot dont make it to..but 4 or 5 seems like a really low...

This year our Circuit Regional gymnasts are training to compete on six apparatus. They can train a max of nine hours a week, so it will be interesting to see what they look like with so few hours. The two extra apparatus are tramp and tumbling. Not sure whether Baby Bog will compete in...

Can someone please tell me the requirements for level 8 region 3 to qualify for regionals??

We are a small gym in Region 8, 2 optionals and about 20 compulsory gymnast. None of our coaches or gym representatives are scheduled to go to the Region 8 Regional Congress. My questions are; will we miss out on a lot of new information, as parents should we suggest someone go, have parents...

Could someone help explain how Level 8 regional qualifying works - Region 8 as an example had 319 at regionals. Rules state: All stars is 208 + plus all ties + additional 54 athletes. State team = 64 / 8 per state. As an example Lousiana had only 13 qualifiers, obviously 8 were for team, why...

My dd had her Level 8 Regional and did pretty good.She had a few mistakes that probably cost her placing.She did not place on anything.Region 2 was pretty tough.Her teammate had a 9.425 on beam and came in 14th.I'm just glad she had fun.At State she messed up on vault and was pretty emotional...

So Level 10 Region 8 Regionals is in two weeks. Exciting. Bought plane tickets last night. We leave Thursday for AL from FL..DD competes Sunday 4/20 at noon. 37 level 10's in her age group and I know the FL girls are stellar. Wish us luck!
