I know that in level 5 you have two judges per event. Do they take the average of the two scores or the highest of the two scores?? I have to do tabulations for our next meet and I was just wondering.............

With the gymnastics starting Sunday can someone explain the scoring? Don't laugh....but it's not out of a 10 anymore? :confused:

What do you think about holding back gymnasts (on a level) who are scoring very high? I am talking about the compulsory levels, and kids who are scoring in the 37's and 38's in the AA. I am at a gym that allows parents to hold their kids back if they are nervous or for various other reasons...

Is anyone else still trying to figure out this new scoring system. I understand that they get two scores, one of difficulty and one for execution. Now, is there a maximum number of points they can recieve for execution--is that still out of a 10? I think, and please correct me if I'm wrong...
