DD had a super awesome meet again today. She did pretty much the best routines she can do on 3 of the events. She had a wobble on beam, but the rest was very good. She ended up 1st AA with a score a few tenths under a 39 AA! It was crazy. She also won all 4 events. I was so proud of her. This is her highest AA total and her highest scores on floor, bars and vault. And never in my wildest dreams did I ever think she would have a meet where she would win every event. I'm sure it won't happen again so she needs to savor it.
I'm so proud of her for hanging on to that beam wobble and not letting it ruin the rest of the routine. Obviously I'm proud of her other events too, but when I see her fight I see such growth in her as a competitor and gymnast. That means more than winning. Those are skills that will hopefully stick with her. And she won her first floor title ever. It was the only event she hadn't ever won. She was excited about that.
