Hello!

Since my little cousin who lives with us is doing gymnastics, I want to learn some skills too. I am a good tumbler, because I did cheerleading for some years, but never did a lot of conditioning.

I can easily press from a straddle stand to handstand, I can hold a tucked V-Sit on floor for about 8 seconds, L-sit for 30 and I can do 4-5 leg lifts on stall bars.

Is it possible for me to learn the straddle press to handstand, standing pike to handstand, 10 seconds V-Sit and 20 L to V lifts on stall bars (like in TOPS) and 10 chin-up pullovers in a row (and of course 10 pull ups then!) although I am already grown-up (22)? I am 5'3'' and 115lbs!
I will workout 3 times a week.

So many people say it is impossible, others say I can achieve it in 6 months. I don't believe either!
Hope someone experienced can help me :)

Of course it's possible! If you're willing to work at it, you can definitely make those goals. We have a 30 year old woman at our gym who trains to compete. (Not USAG).
