Women Another Meet. Retained sanity.

Hi all! I just wanted to share...

So, this weekend I sat all by my lonesome at DD's meet! I have to say, it was lovely. I met new people, chatted with my neighbors some, and had a much more pleasant experience than the last time.

Related, DD's foot fully recovered and she had a much better meet! She hit pretty well on all events and scored her so-far season high AA = 36.25. Good enough for 10th. She also had her highest vault score again (it has been increasing each meet).

So, I retained my sanity and she earned a trophy. It was our best experience yet.

Congrats on finding a peaceful solution. We usually sit alone (and I move around to get a good angle to video), and have found that it is better. Every gymnast has their own stresses and goals on meet day that their families share with them, and combining them makes it stressful all around.
