another new parent

Hello, everyone! I've been lurking for a while but thought it was time to take the plunge. I'm a parent to a L6 girl and a L4 boy, both of whom will compete those levels for the first time this year. (It's my daughter's third competitive season and my son's first.) My daughter is ten and my son is eight. Neither one is going to the Olympics in gymnastics, but they both really love the sport and have had a great time developing their skills. Looking forward to participating in the community.

You have been a gym mom for quite a few years already! How many years have your children been doing gym?

I can't tell you how much I have learned from CB!

Hmm, let's see -- we started with a rec class in 2007 for my DD and both DSs, so I guess I've logged my fair share of hours in the gym! (My oldest son is a soccer player, I think because gymnasts do not have enough competitions to suit his personality.)
