Parents Any Gymmies with Practice on Halloween?

As a teacher, this has always been a thought of mine!

We actually do this at our school if the day after is a school day. We make it a teacher work day. Let the parents deal with strung out kids!

No gym for DD tonight..... BUT... She has her second meet of the season beginning at 8 a.m. tomorrow morning!!!! Uuugghh! And it's 3 hours away so we have to make the trek to a hotel after trick-or-treating tonight!!!!

Wish they would have considered things a smidgen more before planning a meet the morning after Halloween!

Our girls have a meet tomorrow too but I don't think they start until 11:30

Mines have practice but we are not going she needs time to be a kid.

Pretty much had the place to herself. One on one with the coach. A couple rec kids were the only other people here- and this place usually has over a hundred kids on a Friday night! The coach and I decided to drop it from three hours to 1.5 since there is only her, so she is going to her bday party after.

Our gym was closed. My kids would never miss Halloween and they had a blast tonight. Not a big deal for them to miss a day every now and again.
