So my coaches have been saying a few things about a back up plan. Like if you decide that this sport is just to darn hard, then you might think that soccer, baseball, or even hip hop might be a little easier. So what is your back up plan or plan B???:D:rolleyes:;)

I think this is kind of a weird thing for coaches to be saying to their athletes (my coach's philosophy is that if you're willing to work, she'll coach you no matter what your ability is), but I have always had other things I want to do. In my case it's more of an AFTER gymnastics than a Plan B, because I'm going off to college in two years (OMG!!!) and I won't be at a high enough level for NCAA.

I've ALWAYS wanted to try circus or rhythmic, and some of my gym friends do circus over the summer, too. Yes, I did see that movie The Gymnast. Show choir and musicals/plays at my school interest me, too, and I know I'd perform or do lights/costumes/etc if I had time. I want to try modern dance and dance choreography classes in college, though I don't have much of a dance background. I sort of want to try debate, too - I may take a school class in it next year.

I have always wanted to do figure skating but I love gymnastics to much to give it up and definately domt have time for both and high school. But it could be funny watching me practice because I am all power and very little grace.

You should try it, because you can always become gracefull even if you're not right now! People always say I move like a dancer, and I think it's because I was a competetive figure skater before I was a gymnast. It teaches you how to flow and use your body really well, especially if you do moves in the field (footwork and edges testing).
