Women Bent arms on beam BHS?

Is it technically wrong (and presumably a deduction) to have bent arms on a BHS on beam? Just wondering because some of DD's teammates bend their arms and I worry that they're going to smack their faces onto the beam one of these days... Wanted input from more knowledgeable people! Thanks.

That's what I thought. But I've never seen it corrected on DD's team. As a coach, how would you correct it?

I do a ton of backhand springs up a panel mat until I am sure that they are safe before I ever put it on a beam. They do drills everyday before they go to beam and if it looks wrong they don’t put it on the beam that day. I also spot a lot.

Yes it is a deduction (of about .1 I think, but I could be wrong) and it is very dangerous to continue doing a bent-arm BHS on beam.
