Women Bent Legs and DD Can't Fix It??

Have her lift her right foot 1/3 of the way up allowing her knee to bend so her foot dangles. Once she's stopped in that position she should reach back with her toes as she lifts the ankle/top of foot foward and up to straighten her leg. The forward/upward motion should continue with the mental emphasis on her ankle being the object moved ahead of all other leg parts until her ankle is head high or at the limit of her flexibility as defined by perfect posture, especially through her hips.

She can do 10 repetitions with each leg. These should be done in a slow rythym that allows her to feel the process on the way up.....and down, as it's an exact reversal of the upward moment. The entire session should last about 3 minutes total time for both legs, and she can switch legs....when one leg tires, switch to the other, and then switch back until all ten reps are finished with each leg. See if you can get her to do this while brushing her teeth and hair every morning. Moving upper body parts while balancing on one foot will prompt her to "tighten up" through her core, and that's a good thing you can never get enough of.

This is one of those things you could show her, and let her choose to do....or not. Explain to her that a 2 week "trial period" may be all it takes to show her how to keep her legs straight, and improve her scores by .5 or more. Straight legs will also make more advances skills easier to learn, as her on-board computer won't have to constantly "re-calculate" for the variable that bent knees imposed on the physics of motion.

Beam deductions

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some help understanding my deductions on beam. I’ve been watching my videos back, but I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the judges are taking the most off. If anyone is willing to take a look and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially curious about execution deductions, rhythm/connection issues, and anything in my acro or dance that might be costing me. The judge started me at a 10 for this routine, and I got a 9.1
