Women Bra Under Comp Leos

Hi everyone! As optionals meet season approaches, (or for some people it has already gotten started) How do you not make your bra show in leos that have mesh sleeves? I have a skin color bra, but it still shows, and I’ve tried black, but that is very noticable. Thanks.

Either clear straps or don't worry about it. It is covered by the mesh, so it is not "technically" showing.

I might be wrong but I’m pretty sure the code recently got updated and it now doesn’t deduct for bra straps

there's no deduction for bra straps showing. They can be clear, black, or match the Leo.

My daughter always gets her mesh leotard sleeves lined with a nude liner. She says it’s much more comfortable and warmer that way. She doesn’t wear a bra, but it would also address that concern.

There’s no deduction anymore, luckily.

Depending on where the mesh is a clear strap bra might not help. My daughter’s leotard this year has mesh at the top in a way that’s impossible for the actual bra part on the front not to show through. The leotard was obviously designed by a man… but the leotard companies should do better and require it to be lined over the bra area. It’s annoying to pay $500 for a leotard that’s impossible to wear a bra under without showing, especially the front, not even just the straps. Even if it’s not a deduction it still looks messy, and it bothers the girls.

Thank you so much! I did not know it was not a decution, but my coaches are little bit old school, and might not want my bra strap visible, so the clear bra straps are a really good idea!

We wear Nike Pros to the competitions over our leos so that when we warm up we can take off our trackpants and feel more comfortable. Obviously we take them off when we actually compete.
Sorry thats a bit irrelevant, just a thought.
