Hi, looking for help, advice, and maybe a miracle! We have a young squad girl age 6 who just cannot get her chin up pullover, we are doing lots of conditioning etc. when it comes to the move she can do the chin up and get her legs towards the bar then just gets stuck? It's really gotten to the point now where it's very disheartening for her. Anyone got any tips etc? :(

Try having her hang in an upside down L position with her hands on the bar. Then have her pull the bar toward her chin while you help her stay balanced. Don't worry if it feels like you're carrying a lot of her weight, because the idea is to give her a complete sense of what the skill feels like and what muscles are needed at various stages. If you do this for 3 sets of 5 repetitions each and there's no change, then try the same idea but with a little less rotation to the original upside down L.

Do them in reverse, lower slowly. and from a swing, (infant giant, smaller then a baby giant. :)).

Beam deductions

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some help understanding my deductions on beam. I’ve been watching my videos back, but I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the judges are taking the most off. If anyone is willing to take a look and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially curious about execution deductions, rhythm/connection issues, and anything in my acro or dance that might be costing me. The judge started me at a 10 for this routine, and I got a 9.1
