Hi I’ve recently started learning a clear hip but I’ve been having trouble kipping up after the circling part is there any form errors that I need to fix or drills/ conditioning that I can do at home or at the gym?
P.s im am getting corrections from my coach just wanted to get a different prospective

I would have to see how you do your kip to know what exactly to tell you to correct coming out of the clear hip.

However, depending on what level you are training (Xcel Gold/Platinum), you might just be able to put it on the high bar and dismount immediately (no kip after required). If you are DP 5, that wouldn't be an option. It could be an option in DP 6 (if you are skipping L5).

Think about dropping to candle while holding your arms even farther away from your body, about right in between horizontal and where they are now, and you’re slightly arching into and out of it, pull your ribs in and squeeze the tush! Sorry if not specific enough! I agree that seeing the kip into it would be helpful

No reason to see your kip to figure out what the problem is. Shift is late and you are losing pressure on the bar. Shift quicker and keep pressure down on the bar with your chest in as you come over the top then press away as you lift your toes into the glide swing. You should never really feel like you are falling when you are holding onto the bar and you are clearly falling into your glide swing . There are other things that could make the clear better/stronger but if all you want is to be able to connect that clear into a kip then that will fix it.

Edit to add: Please don’t put that on a high bar into a dismount. With the loss of pressure and fall out of the clear you would be lucky to not peel let alone get any proper swing into a dismount.
