We want to used a closed circuit recording system for training purposes at our gym. I've worked a summer at Woodward and the gym I coached at near 4 yrs ago had one and I loved it. A dad set up the system with a TIVO unit, and I know nothing about how to set it up.

A two summers ago we tried to set up a Closed Circuit training DVR using TIVO, but we unfortunately had used the wrong TIVO model that required TIVO monthly membership to use the unit properly.

Technology has changed SO MUCH and I was wondering if any techie coaches or parents out there can offer some advice on what to purchase to use it in a gym setting. I used to set it up on whichever event we needed it on, we had ours on a media cart to roll around, and then I had it on a 30 or 45 sec delay so the girls would watch their effort while waiting in line. If it was routines it was a longer delay.

Thanks!

my coach does this for us on bars and vault sometimes.. and it's really great because it really shows us what we need to fix.. but sorry i have no idea how she sets it up..
