Has anyone experienced the negative effects of competition between two coaches in the same gym?
I have heard both MAG and WAG coaches put down gymnasts coached by different coaches in the same gym and wonder how they can be in the same club?
So far I have managed to shield my children from this negative behaviour and bit my tongue when a parent says their coach said whatever about my DD because I cannot see any benefit to getting involved.
I understand that in gym there are varying theories and coaching techniques between coaches (especially when they come from different countries) but is it too much to ask for some show of unity in deference to the club and, ultimately to the gymnasts benefit?
