Does anyone have any specific hair jell and rubber bands that work really well and look good for meets. I’ve been competing for 1 year and have kinda just used whatever.

We used different products over the years depending on the style we were doing.
When YG did "spiderweb" hair, we used a hair mousse and colorful mini rubber bands or mini hair ties from the dollar store.
For braided styles, we used Got2B gel (I forget the specific one because it has been so long).

Bubble Braids!!!! My teammate loves those because its out of your face and you can use different colors to match your leo!

When I was younger my mom did spiderweb with little elastics matching the Leo from Amazon. Into a curled ponytail. Now I do my own hair cause I don’t care about if it looks good I care about it feeling normal for me to not mess up my skills. Two braids on each side of face into a low-mod ponytail is my go to so it’s stays in but is comfortable.

I do a slick back ponytail because my hair is too long and thick to put into a bun. Sometimes when I feel like thats to basic I'll do bubble braids though.

Garnier fructise spray gel for styling and Got 2B Glued freezing spray to finish the job. My fine-haired gymnast can sleep on his meet hair when I do it like this.
