Question on the Elite Compulsory Qualifiers and Hopes Meets. If gymnast is age 11 and a high caliber level 8, training level 9/10 skills what would be the best entry step into the Elite path just to test out the waters? Would it be to attend a Compulsory Qualifier or Hopes Meet? Gymnast has not done the Hopes program but her skills and age align to the qualifications chart. In looking at the Elite Compulsory Exercises, she has those skills as well. Our gym trains DP program with a handful of talented Level 8's and several Level 9/10 and has shown some indication of doing more with Elite. Thank you!

Wasn't this answered in depth on Facebook? So, the same advice: The 24-25 season is coming to an end, so no more qualifiers. She has to qualify both sections in the same season. She needs a coach who knows how to train elite. The new compulsory routine is being worked on, and there are about 5-7 qualifiers scheduled for the 25-26 season. Go to Youtube to watch some routines and get familiar with it, and most of all--find a coach or gym who can help navigate the path and also train her properly for it.
