Parents Custom milano quality question

Has anyone ordered a custom Milano leotard? I just received my ordered and the neckline has no binding. I contacted Milano and they advised my that there is no binding on the neckline for custom orders and there is nothing wrong with this leotard. I’m just surprised because I can’t imagine anyone being happy with the way it looks. Is it just me? Does it look fine? Has anyone else ordered a custom leotard and did it look like this?

It looks like it is finished with elastic? which is an acceptable technique.

Generally bindings are probably cheaper and often more comfortable. The arms are done the same way.

I guess without knowing what was stated when ordering, it's hard to know if they are in wrong or as a customer you haven't got what you wanted because you simply didn't know/understand/lack of communication.
