Rock climbing could be a good adrenaline rush for her too! I know that if she were on a teak, they compete also, but it's very different than a meet, for instance. There are also opportunities for outdoor climbing which is a rush on its own, depending on where you live.

Our gym offers a special advanced training group for kids who compete on middle school and high school teams, as well as kids whose skills exceed what is taught in rec but aren't competing for whatever reason. There are other gyms in our area with similar programs, and they aren't always openly advertised. If she is dead set against competing, it might be worth asking around to see whether such programs are available.

In addition to diving and rock climbing, pole vault also offers a great adrenaline rush.

Beam deductions

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some help understanding my deductions on beam. I’ve been watching my videos back, but I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the judges are taking the most off. If anyone is willing to take a look and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially curious about execution deductions, rhythm/connection issues, and anything in my acro or dance that might be costing me. The judge started me at a 10 for this routine, and I got a 9.1
