A pull up bar is a little tiny bit of gym at home, of course it makes her happy. The little gymmies are and should be pleased with their strength and eager to get stronger. I have even read on here about parents taking the bar down as a punishment for gymnasts not doing homework or cleaning rooms, something most parents would not dream of doing. Personally, when I was a kid my mom would take my current book to get me to do chores, another thing most parents would not take away.

My DD got a beam for her b day present when she was 4 (the ONLY thing she asked for) and a bar for 5th bday. Now she is asking for privates, new leos and a new longer mat for her 6th bday. I keep showing her dolls and toys she might want...nope! And those she has/gets never get played with because she is always in her "gym room" lol
Gotta love the passion! :)

Beam deductions

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some help understanding my deductions on beam. I’ve been watching my videos back, but I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the judges are taking the most off. If anyone is willing to take a look and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially curious about execution deductions, rhythm/connection issues, and anything in my acro or dance that might be costing me. The judge started me at a 10 for this routine, and I got a 9.1
