Hilarious!! Sorry Bog but that diatribe against you had me pmsl!!!
But if the poster is in the UK then what was all that about attending a US university in 4 years time?

Well I think I might decide to be a 22 year old pole vaulter from Brazil next week - I'm sure I have lots of questions about that.

Things are quiet around here, lets see how it goes eh!

Brazilian pole vaulter, do you think we need a forum for that?

Awesome.

(Someone should add that smiley to the official forum list....I'm sure it would get regular use)

I would not mind an AcroPole forum...at all. :D

Course this being a family website, I don't think it's gonna happen. :(

Getting back to it, if you have great genes and have the potential to be strong and fast maybe...

If you can find a gym and coaching that will allow you to keep training post compulsory education (HS, whatever it is in the UK or US [ where the heck are you from? ])

Because I just don't think you could train enough in any NAIGC club. Heck, even with NCAA rules, it might not be enough unless you are an event specialist or can circumvent the 20hr/wk rule.

I'm really impressed with the UK education system!

The phrases used, sentence structure and careful use of ***s is way beyond anything I would expect from a Gen Y in Australia, let alone a 14 year old. They must be doing something very good with their readn' and writin'

We'm some proud ! ;)

One of the more entertaining threads in a long time!

And I'll go out on a limb by giving kudos to OP for holding his (her) own against a band of "***** club moms". You probably would have garnered respect if your rebuttal did not include implied curse words. While we think we are posting anonymously, we still take "attacks" personally. And when there are a several people who "(mis?) judge" you, it can put us on the defensive. Posting honestly and accurately will get you more positive results.
