Some years back at my gym we had adult classes and there were these two ladies. One was in her late 30's and one in eaely 40's I believe and they went to their class and went to Open Gyms all the time! They were so sweet and at open gyms we would hang out and do skills together! I would help her with some stuff and she would help me! That just showed me that there is no way an age where you become too old :) Have you started gym yet?

Too old...never

I coached high school gymnasts in Canada for many years and had students start at 14 yrs and older and some went on to stellar university careers.

You have many options, artistic, tramp and tumbling, acrobatic, aerobic gymnastics.

You go for it and enjoy it to the fullest.

Beam deductions

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some help understanding my deductions on beam. I’ve been watching my videos back, but I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the judges are taking the most off. If anyone is willing to take a look and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially curious about execution deductions, rhythm/connection issues, and anything in my acro or dance that might be costing me. The judge started me at a 10 for this routine, and I got a 9.1
