anyone else with first meets this past weekend?

DD happy to be done with first optionals meet-- Level 6--this weekend. She only placed on one event but got a 35 overall and had a clean meet-- didn't fall, landed BHS on beam, got squat on, landed flyaway, and all her tumbling with almost no steps. For her, that is a great meet :) Luckily, she wasn't unhappy about the lack of medals, was really proud of herself. She is not on the podium often, but seems to love the sport.
 
We had our first optional (practice) meet this weekend as well. Your daughter and mine sound almost identical. Placed on 2 events, 35.05 aa, stuck everything with no major bobbles! Glad it's in the books, 6 weeks until the next one.

Beam deductions

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some help understanding my deductions on beam. I’ve been watching my videos back, but I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the judges are taking the most off. If anyone is willing to take a look and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially curious about execution deductions, rhythm/connection issues, and anything in my acro or dance that might be costing me. The judge started me at a 10 for this routine, and I got a 9.1
