I called and checked on my mother this afternoon because she is in the warning area. Where she is, they are ONLY expecting 40-60 mile per hour winds and thunderstorms.

Hope everyone is safe ... Evacuate if necessary.

We were in the path in the sense that if it turned at "all", we'd have a hard hit, but we were just fine.
The worst came through overnight, and in the morning it didn't even look like anything happened.
We were very lucky.
Then watched the next few days as it barrelled up the coast

We were lucky where I live in NC. There has been a lot of horrible flooding nearby. Dd had practice on Saturday when it came through and they had to close early because of flooding on the roads and some in the building. But fortunately, they were able to contain it and her gym is fine. I wouldn't be surprised if some gyms in our area have damage though, especially south and east of where I live.
