So, D is really frustrated. He has always had a great front handspring. Even had his front handspring step-out, step-out front handspring, and had step-out, front handspring, front tuck. But, this summer, his lead food was changed from his right to his left. Now he is struggling. His front handspring is good, but looking at trying to be level 7, he needs a lot more! In addition, he has a pretty significant arch in his back that is causing issues (his butt sticks out as he does it LOL!) Any encouragement or ideas? He was pretty down tonight. He used to be a decent tumbler, so this is quite a blow for him!

if it's not working i'm certain the coach will change it back.

What was the reasoning for changing his lead foot? You mean his hurdle leg, right?

He leads his round off and cartwheel with his left, front handspring was with his right :(

I've come across this as well. Other than routine composition in the compulsories, does anyone think this really matters?
