D said goodbye tonight to his first pair of grips. Ripped the finger holes during his routine tonight. He was so sad. I think he was a little too attached, lol. They are in a place of honor hanging in his room now.

Hopefully he has another pair already broken in and ready to go...(I will not do that again!) DD is working on breaking a new pair in before her old faithfuls finally bite the dust.

Awww, and we are just starting to think about purchasing grips.

Fortunately, he does have a back up pair. We had purchased one in February because some stitching was coming undone on these. But they aren't nearly as "comfortable" as his first ones. They were so perfectly broken in!
