hi, i used to compete Xcel Gold in California, but i quit when we moved to Texas. when i was younger, i was really fast at learning new skills, i went from pre-k gymnastics to bronze, and when i was in bronze, at an open gym/private lessons, i got my RO-BHS-BT and my standing tuck, then i got into silver, where i got my BHS on beam and my giant on bars, but i was to young to compete platinum at my gym, so i was put on gold, where i got my layout half on floor. soon after, we moved to texas and i quit becuase i couldnt find a gym that made me feel the way i did at my old gym, i wasnt motivated anymore. I tried out for my school cheer team, and i did that for 3 years, but then switched to online school. I work at The Little Gym now, so with my money, im planning on signing myself up for gymnastics. I went the open gym for this place, and i felt good at it, so i decided to sign up. i havent sceduled a tryout yet, and it wont be for a couple weeks becuase thats when ill finally be done with school tests, and i will have time, but the coaches loved me and said they could work around my scedule and my paycheck and make everything work perfectly.

I need yalls help to help me figure out what level i might be (in either Xcel or Jo)

I don’t know xcel well but for JO/DP your floor skills sound like they are ahead of your bar skills which is a great reason to do xcel. It sounds like you could do xcel platinum but every gym has different ideas of how they want to structure xcel routines. Just go for the tryout and get feedback from the coaches; you can always work your way up from whenever they place you and you seem to want gymnastics back in your life no matter what. You sound hard working, mature and enthusiastic- schedule that tryout and make it happen!
