Hello all ... I don't know if many of you remember me, but I was an active CBer a few years back, living in China! My daughter was doing gymnastics in Beijing and then we moved to a smaller city in China without a suitable program and she started ballet instead.

Well, now we are finally moving back to the USA, and she wants to give gymnastics a try again. We will be around Fort Stockton/Alpine, but I reckon the closest gyms will be in the Midlands/Odessa area most likely? I can entertain a pretty wide radius since there is pretty much NO traffic out there, but I imagine my choices will still be limited. DD will be 8 in December and while she'd be interested in team, I don't think she'll be ready right away. She's done 4 years of ballet and plans to continue with that as well, as she was on track to join her ballet school's performance troupe this fall.

Anyhow, I know it is a long shot but any far west Texas gym recs will be greatly appreciated!

Beam deductions

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some help understanding my deductions on beam. I’ve been watching my videos back, but I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the judges are taking the most off. If anyone is willing to take a look and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially curious about execution deductions, rhythm/connection issues, and anything in my acro or dance that might be costing me. The judge started me at a 10 for this routine, and I got a 9.1
