Hi All,
Our Gym is looking to reinstate our half term day camps for recreational gymnasts.
These camps run from 9.00-12.00 and 1.00-4.00pm with the hour in the middle being lunch time for those who wish to stay all day.
My idea for these re-vamped camps would be to have 1 1/2 hours gymnastics in each session, a 15 minute snack break and then 1 1/4 hours of activities.
So far for activities I have thought of:
Films with popcorn (provided no allergies)
Relay Races/Gymnastics games
T-shirt decorating
Decorating a camp banner which is updated throughout the week
We intend to run the camps from Mon-Fri so need 10 activities - some should be 'active' (morning session) whilst others should be more crafty/relaxing (afternoon session)
We have a kitchen at the gym, but no access to an oven so baking isn't an option.
The activities have to take place outside of the main gym because the squad gymnasts will be in training so activities can take place in the dance studio or at a push in our secure car park if weather is good.
Does anyone have any other ideas for activities?
