Currently, I am working on BHS on beam. When i have a spot, I do great, my coach tells me they are beautiful! But when she won't spot me, I'm a nervous wreck. A stack mats by the beam and im fine. But then when I take them away, Again, I'm a nervous wreck.

My coach tells me I over think it to much, but I can't stop thinking about missing my hands!

Help!! How do I get over the fear of BHS on beam!?

First - this is what your coach is for.

Second, reality and physics don't change simply because your coach is not there. Do it right, as your coach has helped you accomplish, and you will be fine. It's when you change something that you make your fears real.

Talk to your coach. Work through it with them.
