New (clueless) mom to the sport! My daughter is 4 and on a Level 1 team. She did a few recreational classes but kept telling the coaches she wanted to compete and they let her try out late for the team and she was placed on it! She recently had her first fun "meet" and LOVED it. She scored 34.6 and placed 4th AA.

Really excited that I found this site so that I can start learning about gymnastics. I danced when I was younger so no clue of all these new, exciting gymnastics terms! lol

Hello! I'm newish to the forum and have already learned so much! My DD is 6 and competes at level 4. This is her first year ever being in gymnastics and it has been an eye opening experience to say the least!

Welcome! This is a great place to learn, talk about gymnastics, and share with others who will understand. I have 2 dd's competing. My oldest is 8 years old and level 5. My younger dd is a 6 year old level 4. We are about 2 years into our gymnastics journey and Chalkbucket has been a great resource.
