Gymnasts Hip pain

Recently when I straddle my legs to do a kip after a clear hip, my hips will pop/crack and it will hurt, to the point where it will hurt to walk after my bar routine. My hips usually pop/crack with certain movements, but it’s never hurt before. I’ve switched to doing pike kips for now, but I don’t get a good cast out of it so my bar routine is kind of struggling. Does anyone relate or have advice?
 
We try to avoid giving or getting medical advice on the Chalk Bucket. Most of us are not licensed physicians, and even those who are cannot diagnose problems or recommend treatment without conducting a proper examination. As a general rule, the internet is always full of misinformation when it comes to health and medicine (and, well, most things, but especially health and medicine).

Your best bet is to talk to a doctor who can see you in person. They will be able to offer much more reliable diagnoses and treatment options.
