Okay, i am aware that it is a very high scoring vault but its infuriating every single person except for the occasional exception competes this vault and its just driving me bonkers!! What do you guys think of this vault?

What would you like them to do? They have to maximize their start value with skills they're capable of so...

I would rather they do a dty than kill themselves attempting an Amanar (or a fhs-double front for some gymnasts...). They are really just playing the game this COP is forcing them to play, as bookworm suggested. It's unfortunate that there isn't more of a reward for variety, though.

Vault reminds me a bit of compulsary's from years past. The difference is that some do 1.5, some 2 and the best 2.5 twists. Hopefully Moroney will do a 3.0 at the Olympics. The good thing is that it is easier to compare them. I know its the COP, just another reason for changes.
