I'm relatively new to gymnastics. I'm 15 and i started February of this year, although i always wanted to do gymnastics. I did tumbling and cheer when i was 13-15, and had my full on floor. I live on the west coast, and I'm level 3, hoping to move up to level 4/pre-team, even though I'd be the oldest one there. It's kinda embarrassing to always be the oldest one in my class. I keep reading on this board about how everyone started gymnastics when they were like 2 or 3. I know i'll probably never compete, but i like to do gymnastics.

My boys both took up tumble & tramp this year, and at 12 & 14 both were by far the oldest in their class, but it did not make it any less fun! They love it - I know it is not exactly the same as gymnastics, but it was still a challenge... gymnastics is a sport that can be enjoyed at any age - there are parents of & posters that range in age from 2 - 48 that I have seen here. If you can dream it, you can make it happen - good luck
