So a level 9 at my gym is competing a Yurchenko Tuck Arabian. It's cool looking but I'm curious about the value... Is an arabian worth the same as a half twist? She also works Yurchenko Pike Arabian and she even does an arabian half out sometimes. Would that be worth the same as a full? It looks like an arabian (clear turn into front flip) but she manages to do a half out of it. She says it feels like a front tuck half. I've never seen this before....

Is this even allowed? What would be her start value for level 9 and 10?

At level 10 a tucked Arabian is a 9.7, piked is a 9.8 I think. An Arabian 1/2 out is a 9.8, 10 if it's piked.
At level 9 I think an Arabian is a 9.9, 10 with the half out. So yes, I believe it is just worth the same as equivalent tucked Yurchenko (1/2 or 1/1). But I'm sure another coach or judge can provide you more information.
