It's been an exhausting but good weekend. We hosted a level 2 - 6 invitational at our gym and had about 130 gymnasts compete. I worked setup, cleanup and the session that my 2 dds were not competing. It was little dd's first meet. She is 5 and started training level 3 in January. She scored an 8.75 on floor with the best routine I have ever seen her do. She scored a 9.0 on vault, a 9.0 on beam (she got almost vertical on her handstand which is huge for her) and a 6.6 on bars (she does not have her mill circle yet). Almost 8 year old Level 4 dd had a great meet. This is her 2nd level 4 invitational. She got a 37.3 AA with a 9.4 on floor, 9.4 on bars, 9.3 on beam and a 9.2 on vault. She is very excited because her coach said she can start the competitive season this fall as placement instead of achievement.
