Hi,

I think that is how you call that element.

Any drills ? And where do you exactly put your arms ?

THX...

Well let me rephrase that:

Where do your arms go after you pulled them up ? Do they go to the side or to your body ?

I have been told both by different coaches...

The skill I am talking about is a back tuck but with straight body, that is a back layout, right ?

you put them in front of your body because if you put them to your sides it could possibly make you arch and it will be easyer once you start twisting

Hey

I personally teach the arms go up and out to the sides on take-off. The arms stay there throughout the skill, and the body closes the arms and body/trunk angle.
The reason being precisely that this will aid twisting in the long run. In any case the take-off and standing up tall is critical, with open hip to allow the snap to hollow/straight.
