Is it possible to make a Level 8 Pbar routine WITHOUT a press to handstand?
DS has trouble with it due to injury so I am just wondering if a decent L8 routine can be made with out it.

What does he have that he can put into a routine? :)

I don't know the code well enough. Can he swing to handstand? I am guessing he could do that, as long as he meets the routine construction elements without it.

Very easy he needs to do an L and then kick out of it to a handstand an extra swing would result in a 5 tenth deduction so that's out of the question. He could also do a front uprise handstand or a kip handstand.

Munch,
Just curious - what kind of injury is complicating a press? The pressing movement pattern (hip flexion + shoulder flexion (opening shoulders or raising arms overhead)) is found in dozens of skills.

Sorry for the delay, so part of his problem with the press handstand was the pressure from pressing up, while tilting his wrist back and forth....I can't really explain it.....bit it has gotten way better since he has been working them over and over with spot. I think it was just part of healing.
