MAG Level 8 Pommel

My son's coach wants him to do his level 7 pommel horse routine for level 8. I know he had the magyar sivado in it. He did all the 7 bonuses. Will this work for a level 8 routine? Will it be successful as a level 8 routine??

DS's coach says yes, if well done it should kick some butt.

Thanks for that! That makes me feel better. I have a feeling they are doing it so they can just coast pommel for now (working what he can do well) and get him up to speed on hb/pb/rings. But I really did want another opinion on that. Thanks for asking
