Women Level 8

Can level 8's compete a stalder and toe to hand in their bar routine? Or they can only do one or the other?

They can do both. The pirouette, clear hip hand, stalder hand and toe to hand(along with all three with 1/2 turn) are designated as allowable C's on bars which level 8's can do without restriction.

And connecting them will set up bonus for level 9 and 10. So I usually have my kids use the combo in level 8 so they can get experience competing it. Then I remove the combo for regionals to eliminate a potential error. Last year I had a few kids in 9 compete all three and then cut it to two at state etc...

Different L8 bars question...on high bar, dd does giant-giant LO flyaway. She is working on Giant-free hip-giant-flyaway. What is this progressing towards? More connection options for L9?

Sure, giant freehip to double in L 9 is bonus, (not in 10).
