Sorry if this ends up getting posted twice. I posted it yesterday, but it doesn't seem to be here. I teach a monthly tumbling clinic at a dance studio for the competitive dancers. They work front and side aerials, flics, lay step outs, front and back tucks, etc. I am teaching two of them onodis, because that would be unique in the dance world. The equipment is pretty good for those skills (air tracks in all shapes and sizes, barrels, inclines, panels and 8" landing mats). The owner proudly told me that she purchased a mailbox mat for me to use. To me a mailbox mat belongs in a preschool circuit, so other than having them do RO over it to get their chests up I have no idea how to use it. I feel bad that she purchased it. What are some good drills where I can use a mail box mat for the level I have described? The owner seemed to think it would help their FHSs because they would do them over it, so I might just set up a station like that just to do something with it!

Beam deductions

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to get some help understanding my deductions on beam. I’ve been watching my videos back, but I’m having trouble figuring out exactly where the judges are taking the most off. If anyone is willing to take a look and give me some feedback, I’d really appreciate it. I’m especially curious about execution deductions, rhythm/connection issues, and anything in my acro or dance that might be costing me. The judge started me at a 10 for this routine, and I got a 9.1
