T&T Mobility within T&T program

Just a quick question, mostly out or curiosity. Does mobility within the T&T program work the same as in WAG? As in, do they have to get a qualifying score for each level before moving up? Just wondering since Dd is just starting in the program, but is coming into it after being a level 6 gymnast.

For t&t mobility starts at L5, but I believe you may be initially entered at a level up to L8. Here are the scores:

And you can be a different level on each event

So before L5 is it just at the coach's discretion? My son did L1 last year, does he have to do a meet at L2 (he knows the L3 routine now) or can he just do L3 (for Trampoline)? Thanks for the thread, this is a whole new world… having to relearn, much different than WAG.

He can compete L3. A coach can register an athlete at the level he feels the athlete is ready for until L7. When they get to L7 they need to compete and receive a mobility score to move on. Keep in mind that once the athlete competes at a level they can not go back to a lower level.

Technically you can do this in artistic gymnastics as well; it's just not done very often.
