This sucks! MyUSAGym is a wonderful source of past meet results. Even though it doesn’t work great on meet day, I enjoy using it The rest of The time. I’ll have to pay a lot of money to scorecat for The same functionality I got for free from myusagym.

Am I the only one who never used the app? The last meets of my daughter that even show up on there are from 2022, and then it’s not even a complete list. No meets from 23/24 are there. I’ve always just used meetscoresonline. Maybe a regional thing? But we do a couple travel meets each year and they aren’t on their either.

That's interesting, and you're right that it might be regional. For us (Region 6), all but one of my daughter's meets had scores on myusagym (at least on the website version, I don't know about the app), and those are also on mymeetscores. On the other hand, only one of her meets - the one that's missing from myusagym - is on meetscoresonline.

I mostly liked myusagym because meets often posted the rotations for all the sessions at the beginning of the meet, and my daughter always liked to find out ahead of time which event she would be starting on, and which other gyms were competing in her session.

I used to use myusagym results to send to mymeetscores when they didn’t load sessions from a meet (I understand that it may be a pro score software issue that causes those omissions). If a score from a sanctioned meet doesn’t show up when most of the other scores from that meet, where can one go now to get the missing scores?

Luckily we are happy with our current gym, but I imagine this would be a problem if you needed to show past scores to a gym or document scores for scoreout purposes.

I think you might be overlap where we are (we’re in Region 2 WAG). We compete in a lot of WA meets and for some reason WA gyms seem especially haphazard about scores.

Unfortunately our gym has a policy of us not contacting host gyms, so myusagym’s suggestion to contact host gyms for scores is a dead end.

I did not realize that mymeetscores does not have any men's meets. That's really frustrating. I wonder whether you may be able to get your son's records through the MyUSAGym app (which may still be functional?)?

Now I feel a little bit less like a crazy gym mom for saving pdfs of all of my daughter's results from MyUSAGym after every meet...

I just downloaded ScoreCat but they don't have any of our meets. I am not, in principle, opposed to paying for a service like what they provide, but only if it's actually useful and relevant to me... So I'll wait to see if their meet coverage improves before getting their premium version.

Workaround via parents at our gym if you want to download meet results to save for yourself and they’re only on ScoreCat

1) download ScoreCat app
2) click on the 1-month subscription option that includes a 7-day free trial
3) sessions will now have a download link at the bottom of each set of session scores
4) download csv file
5) cancel subscription

(Sorry to ScoreCat folks trying to make a profit but it has been a long season and we just want to make sure we have scores before they disappear.)

Unfortunately the answer is that likely those scores will never show up, I keep track of all of my daughters in a google spreadsheet. If these are level 10 state scores then I could see how that could be problematic for recruiting, if a college is trying to look up scores. Otherwise no one is looking at lower level scores.

Yes... always incorrect data there. That's just the way it is.

I think the lesson here is that no scoring site will ever be perfect lol
