Car washes, yard sales, used leo sales, bake sales, that kind of stuff gets the profit to you quickly. Not sure about where you are, but where I'm from a lot of banks will offer their parking lot for car washes. You just need to have families contribute the needed supplies- sponges, soap, towels, that kind of thing. If your gym is on a main road a yard sale/bake sale could work. But probably not the best option if you don't have a ton of athletes going to Nationals willing to donate goods. Some families might be willing to donate goods and never see a profit from it, but probably not a ton. You could also see if the area is having a community yard sale in the near future.
Leo sales can be done at the gym and lots of families are happy to get cheap used leos. However, like the yard sale, girls not going to Nationals might not be too willing to participate since they won't see the profit.
Some chain restaurants (Chili's, Applebee's, etc.) will give your group a specific night. When people come in with a flyer for your group, the restaurant donates a portion of the profit to your organization. Not sure if any type of commitment is expected on your part though other than distributing flyers.
The gym I work for did an open gym fundraiser. They girls invited friends to an open gym and the profit went to their meet fees. The friends all filled out a form saying who invited them at that gymnast got the profits. The open gym was $5 or $10 and the entire amount went to the girls. Depending on your situation, you might want to take some out for paying coaches, gym fees, or something along those lines though. You could split it up among individuals depending on how many they bring or just put it into a group fund.
Congrats on the girls who made it to Nationals and good luck raising money!

We just raffled a hotel stay, dinner and movie away for 2 dollars aticket. My daughter sold one set and got 40 dollars. Car washes and bake sales cost more than you make. Been there done that. We made pompom pens and sold those to cheerleaders and businesses in the area representing high schools, college teams, and other groups. We made lots off of those and they are inexpensive to make.
