Hi, I just ordered some new grips from gymsupply.com and I was wondering how I should break the things in. The only grips I've ever worn were already broken in and used for years. Mine are the "Reisport Women's Uneven Bar Hook & Loops" grips, size 2. Thanks!
Grips take a while to break in. It might be a month or two before they feel really comfortable and work the way they should. Your coach will tell you what you need to do - basically work glides, casts, tap swings, and other easy stuff to slowly break them in.
