Ontario Qualifiers Level 6+

Does anyone know if the mandatory mobility rules were actually put into effect? There was talk that the athletes 2 highest scores from qualifiers and score at championships were going to be averaged and if they hit 37 or higher they would have to move up a level. Just wondered if anyone knows if this actually happened?

I think it has. Our coach held his annual meeting with the provincial team and he talked about all his kids having to move up. I don't think he would say that if it didn't happen.

Our HC described it as you have...avg of two qualifiers and provincials greater than 37 means you move up. It was publicly announced at our gym that a number of girls had mandatory move ups so I would say its official.

There was been no talk of this in Alberta at all, so I doubt it will be in effect at least for the next couple years.
