hello !

i was recently diagnosed with Osteitis Pubis because i was sprinting downhill without any proper stretching. Now i hardly run and gymnastics is my only sport. I was referred to a sports doc and he said i can continue exercising as long as dont feel pain, he seemed confident i can get into handstand training again as long as im comfortable. the running he said 2 -4 weeks maybe longer.

most people who experience this condition are rugby, soccer, football, and runners since they use their legs way more than i do.

My question is do you think im thinking unrealistically in terms that i can return to gymnastics since most people want to return to running after this condition?

my only events at the moment are rings and p-bars
any help is appreciated thank u

follow the doc's orders. this could potentially put you out of sports. there are also injections they give directly in to the ligaments down in that area. your doc can tell you how successful these injections have shown.
