We had a letter today from one of the two sports specialist schools DD took entrance exams for, and not only has she been offered a place, she's also been offered a sports exhibition place for gymnastics too 
Considering she's yet to compete and only moved out of rec 2 months ago, we're incredibly proud as she was up against some tough competition, but the head of sports said she saw real potential in her.
They offer extra mentoring for their exhibition students, including additional training in school hours with high level coaches (ones from her potential new club when we relocate are involved in the scheme by all accounts), so DD is justifiably very chuffed right now
Just got to wait to hear from the other school now, so keeping everything crossed!
